LifeChurch is a non-denominational, Christian church. We share a practical Biblical message of faith, hope, and love that is contemporary and upbeat.
LifeChurch is a member of the Willow Creek Association (WCA) of churches worldwide. The WCA provides training, materials, and support to local churches.
We live in a day in which more and more people are realizing the importance of belonging to a church family. They're discovering the support and positive power for living that comes from being connected to people who care about them.
We believe that church should be the most powerful hour of your week. It should challenge, inspire, and refresh you on your journey through life.
Our Pastors
Brian and Racquel Undlin are the senior pastors at LifeChurch. After a tour of duty in the Army Brian had a dramatic experience with God that changed the course of his life. Upon completion of college, Bible school, and eight years of full-time associate ministry, Brian and his wife Racquel moved to Maine to pioneer LifeChurch.
Gordy and Kim Johnson are the senior associate pastors at LifeChurch. After three years studying to be a teacher God called Gordy to the ministry. He and Brian met at college in northern Minnesota and have been working together ever since. After Bible school Gordy and his wife Kim joined Brian and Racquel in pioneering LifeChurch.
Sam and Ruth Francis have lived in Georgetown Maine for over 30 years and have four grown sons. Sam holds his masters in psychology and loves to help people discover God’s plan for their lives. Ruth has a heart for people and is a woman of prayer. Together Sam and Ruth create a loving, healthy, and godly environment where everyone learns to “Connect with God and with People.”
Dan and Nellie Levier lead our teens into Christ-like character and activities through “Stainless”. They meet weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30–8:00 at LC. Contact them at 657-6465.
Our History
In November of 1996 Pastors Brian, Racquel, Gordy and Kim met in a hotel ballroom in Southern Maine for the first LifeChurch church service. A total of twelve people came! Here Pastor Brian shared the vision that God had given him for connecting people in the Southern Maine area to God. Here LifeChurch was born.
Two and a half years later, after outgrowing the ballroom, a beautiful church facility in Gorham, ME was actually given to LifeChurch. From that moment on LifeChurch began to reach into the community with the message and love of God. LifeChurch has continued to grow ever since.
The desire to connect people to God that Pastor Brian shared at that first service continues this day. More and more people are experiencing this life-changing reality as they visit and connect with LifeChurch.
Statement of Faith
WE BELIEVE…the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine.
WE BELIEVE…in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world.
WE BELIEVE…Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again.
WE BELIEVE…the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Spirit.
WE BELIEVE…water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE…in the regular taking of Communion as an act of remembering what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross.
WE BELIEVE…every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ.
WE BELIEVE…as children of God, we are overcomers and more than conquerors and God intends for each of us to experience the abundant life He has in store for us.
Mission
Jesus summed up the overall message of the Bible when He identified the two greatest commandments in Matthew 22:37-39: Love the Lord, and love your neighbor. At LifeChurch, we believe it is our responsibility to “Do Whatever it Takes to Connect with God and with People.”
